IceBubble is a software company near Doncaster in South Yorkshire, founded in 2014. There are three of us, and you deal directly with the people who build your software.
IceBubble started with a simple belief: small businesses deserve software that fits how they work, from a team that takes the time to understand them before writing a line of code.
We are not a large agency with layers of account managers. When you come to IceBubble, you deal with the people building your solution. That means faster decisions, fewer misunderstandings, and software that solves the problem it was meant to.
No account managers and no handoffs. Paul is involved from day one, and the whole team stays close to every project.
The best software comes from understanding the problem behind the brief. We ask questions, push back when we need to, and build around how your business actually runs.
From the code to the hosting, the domain and DNS, email and backups. When something needs attention there is nobody else to chase.
We have worked with clients from the BBFC to Sky, and some of them have been with us for most of that time. We are not going anywhere, and neither is what we build.
Director and solution architect
Paul founded IceBubble in 2014 after more than 20 years as a developer across IT and field marketing. He has built data capture systems, reporting portals and bespoke applications for well-known clients, and he is involved in every project from the first conversation.
Operations manager and senior developer
Gio has more than 20 years of experience working with large volumes of data at FMCG agencies, and has been with IceBubble for over 10 years. He looks after the flow of complex data and runs our core SQL Server infrastructure.
Software developer
Fernando has a BSc in Computer Science from Lancaster University and works across C#, .NET, SQL and more. He is based in Manchester.
We support OSCAR's Paediatric Brain Tumour Charity. In 2024 Paul and James walked the Edale Skyline for them, and donations came to nearly £30,000. Read about the walk
